POINTS . . . they like to feel like they are WINNING with their wife. They like know what earns POINTS with you and go after those. If you tell them Flowers makes points, you'll get flowers. If you say pink -- they'll be pink! So be careful what you ask for . . . they're simple, literal, lovely creatures. YES!!! Bring on the recipes!!!

Yes, hard not to get offended. My husband is actually a better intuitive cook than me so I try to learn his tricks. He says "oh just add a little of this, a little of that."
