Allison…. this is so true and I know first hand having been flat on my back in horrible pain several years ago for months.

God has used Joyce Meyer and her “tell it like it is” teaching to help my healing in so many ways. Her transparency of her own hurts in her life make her so “real.”

In addition to the verses listed above, is a book I have used over and over for myself, family, etc. written by Joyce… The Secret Power of Speaking God’s Word. It is awesome and has specific categories that you may be burdened with that particular day, with the verses and references. These categories cover everything we experience in everyday life.

Thank you so much for posting this story and this book by Joyce is just another treasure we have to use to proclaim His Word over every area of our lives. Speaking the Word, out loud, covers us with protection, more than ,I think, we even realize. Jesus did this when tempted by Satan… He was persistent in His reply ” it is written” and Satan had to leave.

There is just no defense against our two-edged sword spoken out loud by a believer covered with the blood of Jesus and clothed in His robe of righteousness… Praise Him!

JEHOVAH-ROPHE: “The Lord Who Heals” Ex. 15:22-26. From “rophe” (“to heal”); implies spiritual, emotional as well as physical healing. (Jer. 30:17, 3:22; Isa. 61:1) God heals body, soul and spirit; all levels of man’s being.
